Settle is led by Louisa O’Rourke, an ARB-registered and RIBA-chartered architect with almost two decades of experience shaping homes that feel calm, considered, and genuinely easy to live in.

Her background spans luxury new-build houses, complex retrofits, listed properties and high-end commercial buildings, with projects across London, the South, and further afield. She trained at Oxford Brookes University and the University of Westminster, and began her career at Apt in central London before moving to Surrey, where she became a Director at Concept Eight Architects, leading residential projects from early ideas through to delivery.

With a strong technical grounding and plenty of experience on complex sites, she’s comfortable bringing consultant teams together and guiding decisions with clarity and care. She also has a real love of interior design, so architecture and finishes are considered as one cohesive whole, not as separate layers added at the end.

The result is a collaborative, steady process built on trust and continuity, with thoughtful, sustainable outcomes that stand up to everyday life.
