This recently completed renovation and retrofit reimagines a 1950s bungalow with a careful, considered approach. Working within the existing footprint, the design makes only light adjustments to the layout and openings—recognising the strength of the original structure and focusing instead on refining how the spaces are used.
Targeted upgrades improve performance and comfort, while quietly setting the house up for potential future expansion. The result is a home that feels resolved for now, yet adaptable for what comes next.
Internally, the design balances the property’s traditional character with a contemporary edge. Natural materials and layered textures form a calm backdrop, while moments of colour and warmth bring cohesion and personality throughout.
Professional photography is on its way, but for now, a series of process images offers a glimpse into the transformation as it unfolded.
